US being weak is not good

Much has been publicized regarding the state of our international affairs.  We are unpopular throughout the world.  Regardless of your political persuasion that is not good.  Osama planned 911 after perceiving that we were weak in our response in Somalia during the Clinton administration.  Now the Bush administration is weak and Israel appears ready to go it lone against Iran to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear capability.  Bet on Israel attacking Iran. Russia invaded Georgia as a result partially because of our weakness.  We can not protect our interest from a weakened position.  The next President is going to inherit a more dangerous world where the exercise of power is the ruling implement.
