The Democrats may not be in trouble but they are reeling from ceding the enthusiasm gap to John McCain when McCain selected Sarah Palin as his VP. They are trying to get other women to go on the offensive against Palin and some have enjoined the fight. Hillary is staying above the fray and probably secretly hoping McCain wins.
